The VMware vSphere Web Client console can be customised to meet your needs. It’s an often un-noticed capability, but you can move around all the windows within each pane for objects within the vSphere Web Client. Just drag and drop, holding the top of the block.

There’s no standard terminology for the components, so this screenshot should help you see what I mean;

Why customise your web client layout?

The main reason to re-arrange the layout as far as I see it is that you can put the most important components for your needs at the top – I always move the “Health Score” (from vC Ops) to the top, and move “Notes” down.

What else can you do in the Web Client?

You may not notice that you can collapse each cell/component, you can maximise one to fill the entire window. A little trick I have found is that it is easier to move a component down from the top row than it is to move a larger one up.
